- ★ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆This place is located in the middle of a poor neighborhood and many of it's customers are people who qualify for VITA (Volunteer Income Tax Assistance), but as an employee we were not allowed to tell them about the program, which would have allowed a large number of people to have their taxes done by a professional for free. They also (at the time, not sure if they still do) offered a Refund Anticipation Loan, which is basically a payday loan for people 'in need' of their tax return quickly. These loans are usurious and certainly NOT a benefit to the surrounding community. People end up paying a considerably high interest rate. In essence, it takes MORE money out of their tax return, which in many cases you will pay about 50% Liberty Tax anyway. The people who run it are friendly, but they are NOT from Mississippi, which should be your first clue to cut and run. They are taking advantage of poor people for their personal gain in a place where they have no real attachments. Further, they look to hire the most INEXPERIENCED Preparers they can. This is because anyone with a decent accounting and tax education would not work here, because of their unethical policies.By A Google User, September 14, 2017
